APO would like to thank the following individuals and organizations for their continued support and dedication to its mission and clients. Without their continued support, APO would not be the service organization that it is today. To find out how you can help, please contact us at 417.881.1900 or (toll free) 800.743.5767.

Dr. Wolfe Gerecht

APO would like to extend a special thank you to its Medical Director and Infectious Disease Specialist, Dr. Wolfe Gerecht. Clients can see Dr. Gerecht either on-site or at his primary office, located in the Ferrell Duncan Clinic. He is a special kind of doctor; he shows compassion to every one of his patients, who walk away feeling like they have been heard and are cared about.

Ridgecrest Baptist Church

For many years, Ridgecrest Baptist Church has given APO and its clients an array of very generous donations. Ridgecrest is often the organization that stocks our Client Pantry with needed toiletries and household cleaning items. The church also assists clients who are in financial distress by donating money to help clients pay utility bills in the dead of winter or to assist them with rent. Also, Ridgecrest members are quick to put on their walking shoes and form teams to raise money for APO's annual AIDS Walk.

FOCUS of Springfield

FOCUS, a group of local caring gay and lesbian individuals, graciously donates to APO every year. Not only do they occasionally stock the Client Pantry but they are also one of the biggest sponsors and contributors for the AIDSWALK.

United HealthCare

United Healthcare has recently become a major sponsor for both the Red Ribbon Ride and the AIDSWALK. It is only through the generosity of good friends like United HealthCare that we are able to continue providing care and support to those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Marha'a Vineyard

Martha's Vineyard, a local gay bar, is always eager and willing to host and plan a variety of events to raise funds for APO. Throughout the year the bar holds auctions, shows, and other special events to assist HIV-positive people and to increase HIV/AIDS awareness.

New Belgium Brewing Company

New Belgium has been a continuous and valuable supporter of our Ozarks Red Ribbon Ride. They have allowed us to mold our ride into a favored community event. Providing us with all the support we could ask for. They have continued to provide us with Fat Tire Beer, bicycles and grant money adding a level of "Big Fat Fun" to our event that would otherwise be lacking.

We would also like to extend a special thanks to Brad Smith who has tirelessly worked as the liasion between APO and New Belgium, and who has really helped create the incredible phenomenom that is the Ozarks Red Ribbon Ride.

Galloway Station Bar and Grill

Galloway Station, a wonderful bar and grill in southeast Springfield, has been the home of the Red Ribbon Ride since the event's beginning. Klaus and all of the staff make the bikers feel welcomed and relaxed after an ardous ride. Klaus has generously provided and prepared the food for the Bike Ride every year. And we are so thankful for all that he does for APO.
